About the role
Charleston Digital is a small, high-achieving team, and this role sits at the center of it. You are the person members see first and the reason the building runs: greeting people by name, keeping the space and its programs on schedule, and building buzz around what happens here.
The work spans two connected things — day-to-day operations of Flagship and the Charleston Learning Center, and the community engagement that turns a workspace into a place people want to be. It suits someone organized enough to run a calendar of classes and warm enough to run a tour.
What you'll do
- Own day-to-day operations of Flagship and the Charleston Learning Center — access, vendors, supplies, and the state of the space.
- Coordinate the calendar of classes, certificate programs and meetups, from room setup through registration and follow-up.
- Lead member onboarding and tours, and be the first point of contact for member companies and their teams.
- Promote the Learning Center to prospective students, employers and partners across the Charleston metro area.
- Support community events — iFiveK, the Oyster Roast, State of the Tech — alongside the rest of the team.
- Keep member records, billing details and program reporting accurate and current.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in office, program, facilities or community management.
- A genuine passion for community and economic development, and comfort around technology companies.
- Strong written and verbal communication — you'll write the class announcement and then host the class.
- The judgment to prioritize without being told, on a team where everyone wears several hats.
- Availability for occasional early mornings and evenings when events call for it.
