Workiva (NYSE:WK), the leading cloud provider of connected data, reporting and compliance solutions, today announced that Wdata won a Gold Stevie Award for Technical Innovation of the Year and the People's Choice Award for Big Data Solutions from The American Business Awards. Workiva also won a Silver Stevie Award for Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year and Bronze Stevie Awards for Most Innovative Company of the Year and Software Company of the Year. The awards were presented at a gala ceremony in New York last night.
Wdata enables organizations to integrate data from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other cloud, on-premise and hybrid structured systems to improve data collaboration, ensure accuracy and automate downstream reports and analyses.
"Organizations have made huge investments in ERP systems that provide transactional data, which is the source for reports to executives, shareholders, regulators and tax authorities," said Marty Vanderploeg, CEO of Workiva. "Without Wdata and our Wdesk platform, these reports are still being created manually using email, spreadsheets and word processors. The inefficiencies and risks associated with these manual processes are driving the need for financial transformation in organizations all over the world."
With Wdata, users integrate their enterprise data seamlessly into Wdesk, which provides the tools they need for accessibility, governance, analysis and reporting -- with data assurance and a full audit trail throughout the entire process.
