Two Charleston Tech Groups Win Funding From S.C. Commerce Department

The state SC Department of Commerce is feeding more money into the state's technology sector with a series of grants to startup-minded organizations around the state.

The agency, which has sought a bigger role in the state's nascent startup scene, says it's handing out $719,000 in grants to nine groups, including two in the Lowcountry.  Read more:
