Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation Announces 2012-13 Board Of Directors

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- June 27, 2012 -- The Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to its distinguished Board of Directors-- Nate DaPore, President and CEO of PeopleMatter; Kevin Eichelberger, Founder and CEO ofBlue Acorn; and Eric Wages, Site Operations Manager of Google's Data Center in Moncks Corner, SC.
These accomplished entrepreneurs join currently seated members, President and CEO of CSS, Kirk King; BoomTown Co-founder and President, Grier Allen; Charleston Mayor, The Honorable Joseph P. Riley, Jr. and Automated Trading Desk Co-founder, Jonathan Butler.
The Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation was established in 2004 as a 501(c)6 non-profit corporation to support the development of the Digital Corridor through an expanded array of programming and networking to benefit Charleston's knowledge-based community. Board members serve a two-year term.
As part of its nimble, market-oriented strategy, the Digital Corridor relies heavily on input from the local knowledge-based companies it serves to guide program offerings. "Since the foundation was formed, Charleston's successful entrepreneurs have played an instrumental role with guiding our initiatives, including the recently launched CODEcamp," said Digital Corridor Director, Ernest Andrade. "I am honored to have a board of this caliber and know that their input will serve our community extremely well."
