Hannah Solar Government Services Announces the Relocation of Company HQ to Charleston, SC

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- February 7, 2012 --- Hannah Solar Government Services is pleased to announce the relocation of the company to Charleston, South Carolina from Atlanta, Georgia. The company has located to the Flagship2 facility in downtown Charleston.

Hannah Solar is also pleased to announce that the company has been awarded two contracts to install solar photovoltaic systems at U.S. Government Facilities, one at the Marine Air Corps Station in Beaufort, South Carolina and one at the new Army Reserve Center in Denton, Texas. Hannah Solar Government Services, as its namesake implies, focuses primarily on solar projects for government requirements.

Hannah Solar, a qualified disabled veteran-owned small business, is led by U.S. Army Colonel (Retired) Dave McNeil, a former Base Commander of FT Dix, NJ. The company cited Charleston's large military presence, available workforce and high quality of life as the primary reasons for relocating the company. "I have lived in a lot of places around the world but none compare to Charleston," said Hannah Solar President, Dave McNeil.

Charleston Mayor Joseph P. Riley, Jr. welcomed Hannah Solar to the growing number of clean tech companies relocating to Charleston, SC. "Companies focused on smart energy management through the use of clean, sustainable technologies is the future," said Mayor Riley.

With regards to their office location, the company cited FS2's "instant move-in" office, conference facilities, flexible office options and shower facilities as perfect for the relocating company. "We expect to grow our company and FS2's flexibility and Charleston's workforce are catalysts," said McNeil.
