MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (January 28, 2011) -- eGroup, Inc. today announced that EMC, VMware and Cisco have named the company as a Vblock Certified Reseller, now able to offer its clients expert consultation on the planning and implementation of Vblock-based private cloud infrastructures.To become a certified reseller, eGroup went through extensive training with EMC, VMware and Cisco to not only learn the companies' technologies, but also project management strategies. This designation makes eGroup the only vBlock certified partner in South Carolina.
As a Vblock Certified Reseller, eGroup is on a short list of vendors who can sell Vblock Infrastructure Packages -- pre-engineered, tested and validated units of IT infrastructure that have a defined performance, capacity and availability SLA.
