Digital Lifestyle Outfitters Files Patent Infringement Lawsuits Against Belkin Corporation & Griffin Technology

DURHAM, N.C. - DECEMBER 14, 2005 - Netalog, Inc. d/b/a Digital Lifestyle Outfitters, a leading designer and seller of iPod and MP3 player accessories, announced today that it has filed a lawsuit against Belkin Corporation in the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina for patent infringement.

The Complaint alleges, among other things, that Belkin has willfully infringed United States Patent No. 6,591,085 ('085 Patent), entitled "FM Transmitter and Power Supply/Charging Assembly for MP3 Player," by importing, using, offering for sale and selling its product known as the "TuneBase FM."

Netalog's lawsuit seeks injunctive relief, monetary damages and enhanced damages for willfulness. The lawsuit is in the early stages of discovery. This is the second federal lawsuit instituted in the Middle District of North Carolina by Netalog to protect its '085 Patent.

In September 2004, Netalog filed a lawsuit against Griffin Technology, Inc. for, among other things, infringement of the '085 Patent as a result of Griffin's importing, using, offering for sale and selling of its product known as the "RoadTrip." Netalog's lawsuit seeks injunctive relief, monetary damages and enhanced damages for willfulness.

Discovery has been completed in the lawsuit, and trial is currently scheduled for 2006.
